David B. Scott Funeral Services Set For Monday He was born February 20, 1887 at Knoxville, Tennessee, the son of Joseph & Elizabeth Epperson Scott. He was twice married. His first was married to Martha Fruits who died in January of 1943. His second marriage was to Brownie H. Brown. they were married October 15, 1946 at Richmond. Mr. Scott's family moved to the city during his childhood. His father was associated with the Ben Hur Association. A member of the First Christan church and Masonic Lodge. He was employed during his early life by Indiana Bell Telephone Company. He operated Scott's Electric shop on East Main Street for 18 years until 1946. Survivors include the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Lee Adams of Ocala Fla. a step-son Robert H. Brown of Austin Tex., a brother J.J. Scott of Lynchburg, Va., and three grandsons. Funeral services for David B. Scott will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bright Funeral Home with Rev. Howard F. Miller in charge. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday. Mr. Scott, a former local business man died unexpectedly at 11:30 a.m. at his home 801 W. Wabash Ave.. He had been in failing health for three years
